Help with creating and scanning
Troubleshoot the code, downloaded file and destination separately.
The code will not scan
Start with square modules, a dark foreground and a light background. Remove the logo, keep the four-module margin and increase the output size. Avoid glare, blur and a curved surface. Test the downloaded file with another phone, then test a print at its actual size.
It scans but the page will not open
Check the decoded address for typing errors. Open it directly on the same phone, check the network connection and try while signed out. A permission-restricted file, expired domain or unavailable server cannot be repaired by changing the QR design.
Wi-Fi or email does not behave as expected
Check the network name, password and security choice. Device support varies; some readers display the data rather than connecting automatically. Email codes prepare a draft and require a configured mail app; they do not send messages automatically.
Downloads or logos fail
Use a PNG, JPG or WebP logo no larger than 2 MB. For downloads, check browser permissions and available storage, or try another browser. Choose SVG for scalable output and PNG for broad compatibility. If the content is too long, shorten it without removing essential information; the limit is 1,600 bytes.
I lost an earlier code
QRmaru does not keep creation history. Look in your device’s downloads or recreate the code using the original content. Refreshing or switching languages clears the current editor. A printed static code cannot be updated to a different address; replace it if the address changes.
